  • Bread crumbs
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 sausages
  • to taste Crushed ginger, garlic, coriander
  • to taste Salt

How to Make Scottish eggs

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Scottish eggs in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Boil 4 eggs for 15 minutes and let them cool
  • Step 2
  • Put one egg in a bowl and beat it
  • Step 3
  • Remove the skin of the sausages and add in a separate bowl
  • Step 4
  • Add ginger, garlic and coriander to the sausages. Mix them up. It will be mushy
  • Step 5
  • Remove the egg shells carefully. Take the mashed sausages and mould on the eggs
  • Step 6
  • Coat the covered egg with breadcrumbs. Dip the result in the beaten egg and cover each with breadcrumbs.
  • Step 7
  • Repeat the coating process in all the boiled eggs
  • Step 8
  • Deep fry the moulded eggs on medium heat till they are well cooked.
  • Step 9
  • Serve with your favourite drink
