  • 200 grams Ground chicken breast
  • 1 block Firm tofu
  • 1 medium Carrot
  • 6 Shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp each Mirin, soy sauce

    Step 1
  • Heat a frying pan, and add the ground chicken breast while breaking it up.
  • Step 2
  • Once the ground chicken breast is crumbly, add the tofu while breaking it into pieces. You don't have to drain it.
  • Step 3
  • Add the minced carrots and cook well.
  • Step 4
  • Once the carrots have softened add the mirin and soy sauce.
  • Step 5
  • Add the minced shiitake. Once the moisture has cooked off it's ready.

  • You can add sesame oil as a finishing touch! You can also top with egg for an oyako-don style! Adding minced greens will make it look nice.
  • Step 7
  • I recommend serving this on rice with some shichimi spice!
