  • 1 1/4 cup ground unsalted pistachio
  • 1 1/4 cup semolina
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml thick cream
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

How to Make Semolina Pistachio Cake

    Step 1
  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Grease your cake pan with butter/oil and dust with flour or you could grease the pan with tahini paste only.
  • Step 2
  • Mix the semolina, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Step 3
  • In a seperate bowl beat the eggs with the sugar until it becomes a pale yellow (approximately 2-3 minutes). Add the oil gradually while beating until mixed.
  • Step 4
  • Add the thick cream and ground pistachio to the egg mixture and mix until incorporated.
  • Step 5
  • Add the semolina mixture and fold until incorporated. Pour batter into greased cake pan and put in the oven for 40-45 minutes.
