  • chicken
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame seed oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

How to Make Sesame chicken

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Sesame chicken in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In bowl, whisk together egg, cornstarch, and salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
  • Trim fat off chicken and cut into 1 inch pieces.
  • Step 3
  • Toss chicken in mixture.
  • Step 4
  • Heat skillet with oil, until hot. Add chicken till cooked all the way (7-10 minutes)
  • Step 5
  • While chicken xooks, prepare sauce in a small bowl by stiring together the soy sauce, water, sesame oil, brown sugar, rice vinegar, fresh ginger, minced garlic, cornstarch, and sesame seeds.
  • Step 6
  • Pour sauce over cooked chicken, toss, then turn off heat. Cover chicken and let sit for 5-10 minutes so sauce thickens.
  • Step 7
  • Do the same sauce mixture and mix with rice or quinua.
