Prepare the ingredients before making Sesame Tofu in your home. Then, follow these steps below to serve Sesame Tofu for your family or friends.

Ingredients: Sesame Tofu

  • 15 grams Katakuriko
  • 35 grams Sesame paste (Black or white)
  • 200 ml Dashi stock
  • 1 pinch Salt

How to Make Sesame Tofu

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Sesame Tofu in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put all the ingredients into a saucepan and mix over a low heat with a rubber spatula until it starts to thicken.
  • Step 2
  • Transfer to a container and cover the surface with plastic wrap. When it has cooled down, let it sit in the fridge to chill and harden.
  • Step 3
  • It's nice as-is, or with wasabi or soy sauce. It will be nice and soft if you add it to miso soup!!
