Ingredients: Shepherd's Pie

  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1 Red or Yellow Pepper Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 8 oz Sour Cream
  • 1 lb Potatoes
  • 1 can Sweet Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • 1 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley

How to Make Shepherd's Pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Shepherd's Pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring pot of water to boil, boil potatoes until fork tender.
  • Step 2
  • Brown beef, peppers, and onion in large pan. Drain in strainer to remove any fat drippings.
  • Step 3
  • Once back in pan and the beef is cooked through add corn, soup, milk, salt and pepper, and garlic salt. Stir together for about 3 min.
  • Step 4
  • Once the meat mixture is complete you can mash the potatoes, add the sour cream to them, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 5
  • Pour meat mixture into a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes.
  • Step 6
  • Bake at 350 for 30 min. Pull out of oven. Melt the butter in microwave and pour over potaoes, top with fresh parsley.
