  • 3 pints sherbet (assorted flavors)
  • 8 oz Cool whip
  • 11 oz Mandarin orange segments, drained

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Sherbet Angel Slices in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bake & cool cake as directed on package. Remove from pan. Tear cake into bite size pieces. Line 2 loaf pans with wax paper.
  • Step 2
  • Alternate Cake pieces with spoonfuls of sherbet in pans, pressing gently. Cover tightly & freeze until firm, at least 4 hrs.
  • Step 3
  • Invert each loaf on serving plate. Remove wax paper. Cover & freeze until serving time.
  • Step 4
  • Cut orange segments in half. Then fold into cool whip. Spread over each loaf before serving. Garnish with fresh fruit, if desired.
