  • 2 tbsp dried onion flakes urse fresh if you like
  • 1/2 tsp celery seeds
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 dash of tabasco sauce use your own judgement here
  • 1 hot cooked rice for serving
  • 1 lb dried red beans soaked over night in lots of water
  • 1 add water as needed so beans dont dry up . Just keepvan eye on them!!

  • Now add every thing but the hot rice to your beans

  • Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer
  • Step 5
  • Mine took about 2 hours to cook and thicken you want a nice thick pot licker on yor beans
  • Step 6
  • Put rice in a bowl add your beans on top pass hot sauce for extra heat
  • Step 7
