  • 4 oz Caster Sugar
  • 12 oz Plain Flour

    Step 1
  • Cream the butter and caster sugar together
  • Step 2
  • Add the plain flour and mix
  • Step 3
  • Line 2 7 inch tins with greaseproof paper
  • Step 4
  • Fill with the mixture and smoothwith the back with a metal spoon
  • Step 5
  • Evenly stab all over with a fork
  • Step 6
  • Cook for 15 minutes at 200 degrees celsius
  • Step 7
  • While still hot cut each tray into 8 equal pieces
  • Step 8
  • Place on wire rack to cool
