  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1 lb Manda chicken green onion sausage
  • 1/2 lb mushroom
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 orange bell pepper
  • 1 red onion
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup corn grits
  • 2 cup milk

How to Make Shrimp and Grits

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Shrimp and Grits in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt butter in pan and veggies. Cook until tender.
  • Step 2
  • Add sausage and shrimp. Season with garlic and onion powder, and, Cajun seasoning.
  • Step 3
  • While the shrimps are cooking mix 1/4 cup water and flour. Once the the shrimp are pick ads flour mixture. Allow juices to thicken.
  • Step 4
  • Cook grits. Use 2 cups of water and 2 cups milk. Add salt and pepper for taste. Once cooked add 4 tbsp of butter and 1/2 cup of Italian blend cheese.
  • Step 5
  • Plate grits and spoon over shrimp mixture
