  • 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 3 tbsp chopped cilantro/coriander
  • 3 tbsp chopped green/spring onion
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup cucumber, chopped
  • 12 ready to eat shrimp
  • 1/3 lime
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 avocado, chopped
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 3 tbsp fresh mayonnaise
  • 1 dash of paprika

How to Make Shrimp cocktail!

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Shrimp cocktail! in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cilantro and shrimp. Squeeze the lime over ingredients and add the olive oil, mixing thoroughly.
  • Step 2
  • Fold in avocado chunks carefully as to keep them in tact
  • Step 3
  • In separate bowl, mix the mayo, ketchup and paprika until a light pink sauce.
  • Step 4
  • Fill serving bowl halfway with salad mixture, then drizzle a tbsp of sauce over. Continue to fill the bowl with salad, drizzle a further 1-2 tbsp sauce ontop. Then sprinkle green /spring onion ontop to garnish.
