  • 1 kilo free range native chicken
  • 1 pack sibut or 4 herbs
  • Goji Berry (Hokkien Kham Ki)
  • Siok te
  • Angelica Sinensis (Dang Gui)
  • Chinese Lovage Root (Chuan Xiong)
  • 8 Cups Water
  • To Taste Salt and Pepper

How to Make Sibut Chinese Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Sibut Chinese Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wash the chicken pieces very well. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • Heat up some oil in a big pot. Saute the garlic and ginger until fragant but not burnt. Add the chicken pieces. Stir fry for a while until the meat changes color.
  • Step 3
  • Add the water. Let boil. When it boils, add the Chinese herbs. Simmer until tender, around 2 hours
  • Step 4
