  • Onion Cakes
  • 4 medium size onions of choice , peeled and thinly sliced
  • 4 tbsp of flour
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1/4 liter of oil
  • 1 good pinch of fresh cracked black pepper
  • Prawns
  • 400 grams fresh large uncooked prawns
  • 2 tbsp fresh or 1 tablespoon dried wild garlic
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 pinch chilli flakes

  • To make the cakes peel the onions and slice the thinly. Put into a bowl and sprinkle over the salt
