Ingredients: Sig's Re-fried Cauliflower

  • 1 large cauliflower
  • 1 good pinch of salt or salt substitute
  • 3 large cloves of garlic, bruised and finely chopped
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 good pinch each of salt and pepper for seasoning

How to Make Sig's Re-fried Cauliflower

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Sig's Re-fried Cauliflower in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Trim the cauliflower , break into florets.
  • Step 2
  • Heat a pot with salted water, add the florets when water boils , cook for about 20 minutes until soft but not mashy.

  • Then drain well in colander
  • Step 4
  • Whilst the cauliflower is.draining heat the olive oil to a medium heat, then add the garlic,,heat gently for five minutes
  • Step 5
  • Turn up the heat , add cauliflower and cook,until a little crisp. and infused with the garlic oil
  • Step 6
  • Season with a good pinch of salt and pepper
  • Step 7
  • Serve hot, this can be eaten on its own , as a starter or accompanying a main meal.
  • Step 8
  • It is great with pasta, salmon and asparagus sauce.
