  • 1 For the Homemade quark icecream with rhubarb and honey sauce.
  • 250 grams quark, mascarpone or creme fraiche
  • 500 grams fresh hulled strawberries , cut into halves or smaller pieces. Set a few whole ones aside for garnish
  • 100 ml fresh double cream
  • 1 tsp sugar or more to taste
  • 1 good pinch each ground cinnamon and vanilla sugar
  • 1 small pinch ground black pepper

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Sig's Strawberry icy delight in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Clean, hull and cut the strawberries in half ,or smaller setting aside a few for garnish
  • Step 2
  • Mix the cream and the quark with the sugars, cinnamon and pepper

  • Mix until the sugar is dissolved

  • Add the strawberries and mix gently until the juices run.
  • Step 5
  • Divide into two portions and chill freeze for about 15 minutes then stir again gently. Put back in freezer. Until ready to eat . Take out 5-10 minutes before serving .
