  • 150 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Sake

  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 5 slice Thinly sliced ginger

How to Make Simmered Flounder Fish

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Simmered Flounder Fish in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put the water and seasonings in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
  • Step 2
  • Turn the heat to medium, and add the fish and ginger slices. Cover with a sheet of aluminium foil so it fits right over the fish (as a drop-lid).
  • Step 3
  • Let it simmer for 15-20 minutes so all the flavours blend.
  • Step 4
  • Transfer to serving plates and enjoy.
