  • 5 cm Lotus root (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Salt and pepper
  • 1 Cake flour
  • 2 tbsp Garlic oil

  • 1 slice Bacon
  • 2 tbsp ★Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp ★Sushi vinegar
  • 1 tsp ★Whole-grain mustard
  • 1 dash ★Salt & black pepper

How to Make Simple Lotus Root Salad

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Simple Lotus Root Salad in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice the lotus root into 3 mm wide pieces, sprinkle on some salt and pepper, and thinly coat in flour. Wash and drain the vegetables. Combine the ingredients marked ★ to make the dressing.
  • Step 2
  • Slice the bacon into 5mm widths. Thinly coat a frying pan with oil, and fry the bacon until browned. Remove the excess oil with a paper towel.
  • Step 3
  • Pour the garlic oil into the frying pan. Fry the lotus root slices and then drain.

  • Put the mixed leaves in a serving bowl, add the bacon and lotus root, and pour on the dressing to finish.
