Ingredients: Simple Okonomiyaki

  • 1/4 cabbage (shredded coarsely)
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or vegrtables oil
  • For toppings (as much as you like):
  • Dried bonito flakes
  • Green laver/aonori
  • Mayonnaise
  • Worcester sauce
  • pickled ginger

How to Make Simple Okonomiyaki

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Simple Okonomiyaki in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine cabbage, salt, oil well in a bowl, after mixed, add beaten egg and stir once. Cook it over low heat in a pan for about 2~3 mins with a lid. (adjust the hardness of the eggs to you taste)
  • Step 2
  • Pour the sauce over it (and add mayonnaise if you like it). Top with dried bonito flakes, aonori, pikled ginger to your taste.
