  • 1 cup chopped crab meat
  • 1 cup jasmine rice - cooked or steamed
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp sriacha
  • 4 sheets of Nori Seaweed

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Simple Sushi rolls w/ spicy crab in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook rice by steaming for 30 minutes. I like the sweetness of Jasmine .
  • Step 2
  • Mix rice wine vinegar Into rice and set aside to cool.
  • Step 3
  • While rice is cooling..dice crab meat and blend in with mayo and Siracha.
  • Step 4
  • On a bamboo mat covered in plastic.Lay down Nori sheet shiny side down.
  • Step 5
  • With wet hands or wooden spoon scoop rice onto Nori and press rice down to cover sheet. (Should be sticky naturally )
  • Step 6
  • After pressed down..flip sheet of rice over and add a thin line layer of spicy crab.
  • Step 7
  • With both hands on bamboo sheet roll the nori and rice sheet firmly to form a long roll covering crab mixture.
  • Step 8
  • Cut sushi roll into bite size pieces and enjoy....There are many ingredients you can add to a sushi roll..ie avocado..cucumber...shrimp .cream.cheese etc.. I just posted the most simple version.
