Ingredients: Simple Tofu and Tuna Nuggets

  • 1 block Tofu
  • 1 can Canned tuna
  • 1 Egg
  • 5 tbsp Plain flour
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise (if you have it)

How to Make Simple Tofu and Tuna Nuggets

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Simple Tofu and Tuna Nuggets in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Spread a paper towel on a heat-resistant plate. Break the tofu into pieces with your hands and place on top of the plate. Heat in the microwave for 2-3 minutes to remove excess moisture. Place the tofu into a bowl (it will be hot so be careful!).
  • Step 2
  • Add the canned tuna (you don't need to drain the oil), egg, plain flour, mayonnaise and soy sauce into the bowl with the tofu. Mix well.
  • Step 3
  • Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan. Drop the batter into the frying pan using a spoon and fry. Once both sides have lightly browned, they're done!
  • Step 4
  • The nuggets taste great just as is, but you could also add hijiki, chili peppers, or sauces. Arrange it however you prefer.
