  • 10 oz flounder fillets (or fish of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour (can also use regular flour or any flour you like cup for cup)
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion salt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cup Corn Chex, crushed
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

How to Make Skillet Fried Fish

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Skillet Fried Fish in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix flour & onion salt. Set aside.
  • Step 2
  • In another dish, combine egg, lemon juice, & worcestershire sauce. Set aside.
  • Step 3
  • In another dish, put the crushed chex.
  • Step 4
  • Roll fish in flour. Dip into egg mixture. Coat with chex crumbs, pressing into fish.
  • Step 5
  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add fish. Brown on 1 side 3-5 minutes. (Reduce heat if browning too quickly.) Turn. Cook until coating is golden brown & fish flakes easily.
