  • 8 lb untrimmed brisket
  • 5 lb wood chips
  • 5 tbsp paprika
  • 4 tbsp garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp hot chilli powder

How to Make Smoked Brisket

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Smoked Brisket in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix paprika, salt, garlic salt, onion powder, black pepper, dried parsley, cayenne pepper, ground cummin, ground coriander, oregano and chilli powder in bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Coat brisket with seasoning mixture
  • Step 3
  • Keep smoker between 225° and 250°
  • Step 4
  • Smoke meat for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Step 5
  • Internal temp should reach 170°. Remove from smoker.
  • Step 6
  • Wrap meat in tin foil. Put back in smoker.
  • Step 7
  • Keep in smoker til reaches 190°.
