  • 4 lb Corned beef (or any size you like)
  • Rub
  • 1 tbsp Lawry's seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Powdered ginger
  • Braising Liquid
  • 24 oz Guinness Beer (no substitutes)
  • 1 tbsp Minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 packages of seasoning mix that comes with the corned beef.

How to Make Smoked Corned Beef with Guinness

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Smoked Corned Beef with Guinness in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix dry rub. Pat the meat dry and season with the dry rub. Wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerate 24 hours.
  • Step 2
  • Set up your grill for Indirect Heat with a drip pan in the middle. First place unlit charcoal in the grill then add your lips charcoal on to the top.
  • Step 3
  • Place the corn beef on the grill (fat side up) over the drip pan and add wet hickory wood chucks directly to the hot coals.
  • Step 4
  • Smoke for about 1 hour at about 300°F.
  • Step 5
  • After 1 hour place the corn beef into a drip pan and add the bracing liquid ingredients.
  • Step 6
  • Cook for an additional 3 hours or more. Flipping every 30 minutes. Add water to the pan as needed.
  • Step 7
  • Let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes before carving and serving.
