  • 1 9-inch Pie Crust (homemade or store bought)
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 tsp All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 Vidalia Onion (diced)
  • 1 Tomato (diced)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 3 oz Smoked Nova Salmon (diced)
  • 1 tsp Dried Dill
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

How to Make Smoked Salmon Quiche

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Smoked Salmon Quiche in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Step 2
  • In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, add diced onion, 1/8 tsp of black pepper, and 1/4 tsp of salt. Saute for 10 minutes or until softened.
  • Step 3
  • Add diced tomato to onions. Saute over medium-low heat for 10 more minutes stirring occasionally. Then, remove from heat.
  • Step 4
  • In small bowl, beat eggs, milk, dried dill and remainder of salt and black pepper.
  • Step 5
  • In another small bowl, toss together shredded cheddar and flour. This will help prevent the bottom of the crust from getting soggy.
  • Step 6
  • Place pie crust in a pie dish and spread cheese mixture evenly across the bottom. Then layer the onion/tomato mixture over the cheese. Sprinkle the diced salmon evenly across the contents of the pie. Finally, gently pour the egg mixture over the top of the filling.
  • Step 7
  • Bake at 400°F for 40 minutes or until the center is no longer wet.
