  • 700 grams White rice
  • 4 tbsp Mixed grains (see hints section)
  • 1/2 cucumber Cucumber
  • 4 tbsp (A) Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp ( A ) Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ( A ) Salt
  • 10 slice Smoked salmon
  • 1 Dill (for decoration)

How to Make Smoked Salmon Sushi Balls

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Smoked Salmon Sushi Balls in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook the mixed grain rice. Feel free to cook it as you would normally cook white rice. Since you're making sushi, reduce the water a little to make the rice a bit firmer.
  • Step 2
  • Cut the cucumber into thin semi-circles and rub with salt. When tender, rinse well and drain. Cut the salmon slices in half.
  • Step 3
  • Combine the ingredients marked with (A) to make the sushi vinegar. Fold the vinegar into the cooked rice, and when cooled, mix in the cucumber.
  • Step 4
  • Split the rice into 20 equal portions and shape into balls. Place a piece of salmon on top of each followed by a little dill to decorate.
