  • 2 blocks Tofu
  • 1 tsp ☆Japanese dashi powder
  • 6 tbsp ☆Sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp ☆Salt
  • 4 tbsp ☆Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ☆Mirin
  • 1 tbsp ☆Sake
  • 1 tsp ☆Sesame oil

How to Make Soboro (Crumbled) Tofu

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Soboro (Crumbled) Tofu in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Push the tofu through a strainer or sieve and then mash it.
  • Step 2
  • Mix together the ☆ ingredients
  • Step 3
  • Put Step 1 into a frying pan and heat it up. You don't have to use oil!
  • Step 4
  • Stir fry on high heat. (The moisture will gradually evaporate)
  • Step 5
  • Once the moisture has evaporated, turn the heat off and add what you made in Step 2.
  • Step 6
  • Once you have added in the ☆ ingredients, stir fry again on high heat till the moisture evaporates.
  • Step 7
  • It's done. It's good even when chilled.
  • Step 8
  • You can also add in finely chopped carrots and burdock root, stir fry it, and it'll be delicious!
