Ingredients: Sopa De Arroz (Mexican Rice)

  • 1 cup Cooking Oil
  • 2 cup Rice
  • 4 cup hot water
  • 1 can tomato sauce (small can)
  • 1 can corn
  • 2 tbsp Chicken flavor Bouillon

How to Make Sopa De Arroz (Mexican Rice)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Sopa De Arroz (Mexican Rice) in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat the 1 cup of oil in pot on medium heat. Then add rice and cook, stir occasionally so rice won't burn. Bring rice to a brown color.
  • Step 2
  • When rice is browned, remove from heat. Let cool about 5-7 mins. Add in can of tomato sauce, stir. Bring to heat again on medium to low heat, immediately add water & corn. Stir and add Chicken flavor Bouillon and stir.
  • Step 3
  • Cover with lid. Bring to a boil. Lower heat when water begins to dissolve and let cook on low heat for about 10 mins & stir so rice won't stick or burn. Turn stove off and serve as desired.
