Ingredients: Spanish Seafood Rice

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 250 grams paella rice
  • 850 grams Hot vegetable stock
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 400 grams seafood mix (defrosted before use)
  • 1/2 juice from small lemon
  • 1 few bite size of chicken breast - cooked
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 full hand of green peas

How to Make Spanish Seafood Rice

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Spanish Seafood Rice in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan and soften the onion for 6-7 minutes. Add the red pepper and garlic and cook for 2 minutes then stir in the paella rice and cook for 1 minute,stirring to coat.
  • Step 2
  • Pour the stock. Add the saffron and bring to a boil. Cook,uncovered, at a gentle bubble, forv20 minutes, stirring occasionally,until rice is tender
  • Step 3
  • Stir the seafood, cooked chicken breast and lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes or until piping hot and complete cooked through. Bon appetit!
