  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 small carrot grated
  • 2 cup leftover or cooked white rice
  • 1 cup deveined shrimp / prawn
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • garnish
  • 1 tbsp spring onion and onion ring
  • SPICY SAUCE (SAMBAL SAUCE )or any sambal oelek
  • 3 tbsp spicy sauce (sambal sauce)
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Spicy Shrimp Rice / Sambal Nasi Udang in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • FOR THE SPICY SAUCE ( SAMBAL SAUCE ) PLEASE VIEW ATTACHMENTS BELOW
  • Step 2
  • Used leftover white rice or cooked rice then set aside
  • Step 3
  • in pan with oil brown onion and carrot then add prawn sautee for 2 minute then add sambal sauce with light soy sauce and sugar sautee for another 1 minute
  • Step 4
  • Add cooked white rice and stir fry all in a pan for another 3 minute to mix well then off heat and serve
