    Step 1
  • Parboil the spinach, lightly squeeze excess water, and chop into 3-4 bite-sized lengths.

  • Turn up the heat to medium-high. When it starts to boil, turn down the heat to low. Simmer until a chopstick can go through the sweet potato. Skim off any scum that floats to the top.
  • Step 5
  • Put the spinach from Step 1 with the ingredients boiled in the pot, add 1/3 of the milk into a blender, then blend together.
  • Step 6
  • When the mixture becomes a thick paste, transfer to the previous pot and heat on low.
  • Step 7
  • Add the remaining milk and mix. When it starts to bubble, it's done.
