Ingredients: Spinach Pie

  • "Filling"
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 3 slice bacon/turkey bacon
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • "Crust"
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 8 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp water

How to Make Spinach Pie

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 15 steps you must follow to make Spinach Pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Combine flour, sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
  • Step 2
  • Mix in butter as well as you can with the flour
  • Step 3
  • Add water. Mix until until it becomes like dough, you might need to add a little more water to make it more smooth or add more flour if it is too runny.
  • Step 4
  • Roll into ball and roll out with a pin.
  • Step 5
  • Line a round glass baking dish with the crust.
  • Step 6
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F
  • Step 7
  • In a bowl, combine eggs, milk, salt, pepper
  • Step 8
  • Crumble cooked bacon into egg mixture.
  • Step 9
  • Line the bottom of the pie crust with a layer of shredded cheese.
  • Step 10
  • Add some of the spinach on top of the cheese.
  • Step 11
  • Continue with cheese/spinach layer until you are done (Leave some cheese for the top!)
  • Step 12
  • Pour egg mixture over the top.
  • Step 13
  • Sprinkle remainder of cheese and pop in the oven!
  • Step 14
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until fork slides out with no residue.
  • Step 15
  • Enjoy it!
