  • 4 boxes 3 oz size of Jello
  • 1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 4 containers with flat bottoms

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 11 steps you must follow to make Stained Glass Jello Cubes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • dissolve 1 box of Jello in 1 cup boiling water, stir well making sure all Jello crystals are dissolved pour into container
  • Step 2
  • repeat above step for all 4 boxes of Jello, chill until set and firm
  • Step 3
  • after Jello is set, cut into small cubes
  • Step 4
  • carefully mix all Jello cubes in a 9x13 pan, spread out evenly
  • Step 5
  • in a bowl sprinkle 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin into 1/2 cup cold water
  • Step 6
  • once gelatin "swells" add 1 1/2 cups boiling water stir well to dissolve
  • Step 7
  • add the can of condensed milk stir and cool (so it won't melt the Jello cubes, but not set the milk mixture...10 minutes)
  • Step 8
  • gently (so not to create too many bubbles) pour milk mixture over Jello cubes
  • Step 9
  • gently "shake and tap" pan to help air bubbles raise to the top
  • Step 10
  • skim off as much of the air bubbles as you can
  • Step 11
  • chill overnight, cut into cubes or fun shapes
