  • 1 large Onion (Thinly Sliced)
  • 1 large Red Bell Pepper (Thinly Sliced)
  • 1 large Green Bell Pepper (Thinly Sliced)
  • 3 lb 90% Lean Shaved Steak
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 3 tbsp Non-fat Butter
  • 1 Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 loaf Cuban/ Italian extra large
  • 10 slice Swiss Cheese
  • 4 clove Minced Garlic

How to Make Steak and Cheese Sub

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Steak and Cheese Sub in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In large pan saute peppers, onions, and garlic in oil for 5 minutes on high heat
  • Step 2
  • Add shaved steak, salt and pepper, stir frequently until steak is cooked all the way through
  • Step 3
  • Pre-heat Oven to 350°
  • Step 4
  • Add butter, stir and cover for 5 more minutes and remove from heat
  • Step 5
  • Drain steak from pan
  • Step 6
  • Slice bread from side to about half way through and butterfly open
  • Step 7
  • Place steak mixture on bread, add cheese and put in oven until cheese is melted
  • Step 8
  • Remove, cut into 6-8 servings, (add Banana Peppers if desired, serve and enjoy)
