  • 750 ml White bread flour
  • 10 grams instant dry yeast
  • 15 ml Sugar
  • 2 ml Salt
  • 30 ml fresh parsley
  • 1 Luke warm water
  • 250 ml frozen mixed vegetables

How to Make Steamed Pudding

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Steamed Pudding in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sift white bread flour into a bowl. Add yeast, sugar, salt and parsley
  • Step 2
  • Gradually add lukewarm water to form a soft dough. Add the mixed vegetables. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic
  • Step 3
  • Cover dough with oiled plastic wrap and leave in a warm place for 30-35 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Knock dough down. Place in an oiled heat - resistant bowl, cover with oiled plastic wrap and allow to rise, until double in size.
  • Step 5
  • Remove plastic and place bowl in a saucepan with boiling water. Steam at low heat for 11/2 hours or until done. Water must be kept boiling and more water should be added as it evaporates.
  • Step 6
  • When done, remove from stove and cut into wedges. Serve with stew.
