  • 1 King oyster mushrooms
  • 1 Green onion or scallion
  • 1 tbsp Sake or white wine
  • 1/2 tsp Consommé stock granules
  • 1 dash Salt and pepper
  • 1 dash Lemon juice (optional)

How to Make Steamed Wiener Sausages and Mushrooms

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Steamed Wiener Sausages and Mushrooms in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut the wiener sausages diagonally (about 3 pieces per sausage).
  • Step 2
  • Clean the fresh shiitake mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and maitake mushrooms and split them up.

  • Cut the king oyster mushrooms in half, and then thinly slice them into vertical pieces.
  • Step 4
  • Put the ingredients from Steps 1, 2, and 3 into a frying pan, add the consume and sake, and cover with a lid. Steam-fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • Turn off the heat and let sit for 2-3 minutes (←the residual heat will continue the cooking process). Then season with salt and pepper and stir together.
  • Step 6
  • Serve it into a bowl and if you like, add a little lemon juice and some finely chopped scallions, and just like that, it's done.
