Ingredients: Stir Fried Tofu

  • 300 g tofu (roughly mashed)
  • 10 cm Japanese leek (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/3 mushroom (tear into pieces)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 pinch crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 to 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp white sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper
  • Nori seaweed for topping (optional)

How to Make Stir Fried Tofu

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Stir Fried Tofu in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put crushed red pepper and sesame oil in a pan and turn on the low heat. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Step 2
  • Add mashed tofu, Japanese leek, mushroom, turn the heat to medium, and cook until the liquid is almost gone. Put in the soy sauce and stir well.
  • Step 3
  • Pour in the beaten egg and shake the pan while stirring for 10~15 seconds, turn off the heat, add sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 4
  • Top with seaweed before serving.
