  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Red chili peppers (with the seeds)

    Step 1
  • First, go out and buy some water spinach.There wasn't any at the local supermarket, so I ordered some from a farm in Shizuoka through Rakuten.
  • Step 2
  • Cut the water spinach. Cut the stems into about 3 cm lengths and the leaves into about 5 cm pieces (easy-to-eat sizes).
  • Step 3
  • Heat the frying pan over high heat, add the sesame oil and finely chopped garlic, and the thinly sliced red chili peppers. Lightly stir-fry.
  • Step 4
  • When the garlic has browned, add the stems. When they have cooked, add the leaves and stir-fry.
  • Step 5
  • Once it comes out like this, it's ready. Season with some salt.
