  • 2 tbsp firm butter
  • Muffins
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter,melted and cooled
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugae
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp grated lemon zest
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries(or blueberries/raspberries)

How to Make Strawberry Streusel Muffins

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Strawberry Streusel Muffins in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 400°F.Line muffin tin
  • Step 2
  • In a small bowl,mix Streusel ingredients. Cut 2 tablespoons firm butter, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions) until mixture is crumbly. Set aside.
  • Step 3
  • In a large bowl, beat egg with fork. Stir in milk and 1/2 cup melted butter. Stir in remaining muffin ingredients except berries just until flour is moistened. Fold in berries. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Sprinkle with topping.
  • Step 4
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan to coolingrack. Serve warm or cool
