  • 1 packages sausage
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • 1 packages 90 second rice (any flavor)
  • 1/4 grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 shredded cheese

How to Make Stuffed Bell Peppers

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Stuffed Bell Peppers in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cut off the tops of the peppers and hollow out the insides. Dice up the usable parts of the tops (you need them later).
  • Step 2
  • Make sure when you buy the peppers that they can sit up on their own.
  • Step 3
  • Sauté the onion & diced pepper (that you saved earlier). They don't need to be cooked to death, just a little bit.
  • Step 4
  • Now brown the sausage into little crumbles.
  • Step 5
  • Preheat the oven to 375.
  • Step 6
  • Cook the 90 second rice (I used brown rice).
  • Step 7
  • Mix the rice, sausage, onion/pepper, & parmesan all together in a large bowl.
  • Step 8
  • Stuff the peppers with the mixture, fill 'em up! My mix got me 6 peppers.
  • Step 9
  • Bake for 30 minutes then remove & top each one with shredded cheese & bake for 10 minutes more.
