Ingredients: Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

  • Meat Seasoning
  • 1 1/2 lb Ground meat
  • 2 tbsp Sofrito (optional)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red pimientos
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 Goya Adobo
  • Sazon con achoite
  • 1/2 cup sliced spanish olives
  • 8 oz mushroom spaghetti sauce
  • Filling
  • 6 head Green Bell Peppers
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz Cheddar cheese
  • dash parmesan cheese

How to Make Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Stuffed Green Bell Peppers in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Add meat to skillet. Cook on medium flame until browned. Once browned discard the oil ( that the meat released).
  • Step 2
  • Preheat oven to 375°
  • Step 3
  • Add all the other ingredients to the meat as below. Let cook. Then add the spaghetti sauce. You can choose any flavor you like. I used mushroom.
  • Step 4
  • Now you need your 6 bell peppers with the Tops cut off . (Don't discard them so you can use them to cover your bell peppers before sticking it into the oven.) Start adding 2 tablespoons of the cooked meat at a time into each bell pepper until halfway filled.. Then Add 2 teaspoon of sour cream to each one filled. Add more meat until almost filled. Add mozarella cheese and cheddar cheese as you like. And finally dash parmesan cheese on top.
  • Step 5
  • Ready for the oven!!! Cook for 45 - 55 minutes or until tender.
