  • 60 ml cold water
  • 20 g powdered gelatine
  • 125 ml liquid glucose
  • 15 g glycerine
  • 1 kg icing sugar

How to Make Sugar paste

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Sugar paste in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Soak the gelatine in a bowl with the water
  • Step 2
  • Gently melt the gelatine over a bain marie
  • Step 3
  • Add the glucose and glycerine and mix until smooth and runny allow to cool
  • Step 4
  • Slowly add this to the icing sugar whist mixing all the time
  • Step 5
  • Work the dough and wrap it and rest it for a short time
  • Step 6
  • Dust the work surface with icing sugar and use to make flowers or to cover a cake
