  • 2 1/4 cup chicken broth or water
  • 1 cup large couscous
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 can chick peas (drained)
  • 3/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 3/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup red onion chopped
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 tsp hot pepper flakes
  • 1 Dressing
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3 tsp olive oil
  • 1 Juice of one large lemon
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Summertime Couscous Salad

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Summertime Couscous Salad in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring broth or water to a boil. Add couscous, olive oil and a dash of salt. Simmer 10-12 minutes. Turn off the heat when almost all the broth is gone. Cover with lid. Couscous will absorb all broth.
