  • 1 cup wild rice flour
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp Okara
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 5 tbsp plain yogurt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 overripe mashed bananas
  • 1/2 cup nuts of choice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Super healthy banana bread in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven at 350°F.
  • Step 2
  • In a bowl mix all the dry ingredients
  • Step 3
  • In another bowl mix all the wet ingredients. (If you dont have Okara, you can subtitute the 2 tablespoons of Okara, 4 tablespoons water and 2 teaspoons of oil for 2 eggs)
  • Step 4
  • Fold in half the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Fold until well combined then fold in the second half of the mixture.
  • Step 5
  • Add the nuts and chocolate chips to the mixture
  • Step 6
  • Grease a loaf pan well. Pour the mixture into the loaf pan.
  • Step 7
  • Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out with a few wet crumbs but not extremely clean and dry. It will continue cooking once out the oven.
  • Step 8
  • Let cool to unmold. Enjoy this super super healthy banana bread.
