  • 1 serving Plain cooked rice
  • 3 tbsp Rice vinegar (or vinegar for sushi)
  • 1 Shrimp
  • 1 Black olives
  • 1 slice Salmon (for sashimi)
  • 1 dash Green onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Sushi Grade Tuna (for negitoro -minced fatty tuna with green onions-)
  • 1 Wasabi
  • 1 Yuzu pepper paste
  • 1 Soy sauce

How to Make Sushi Balls

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Sushi Balls in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mix the rice vinegar into the freshly made rice and mix well.
  • Step 2
  • Roll into small balls.
  • Step 3
  • Top one with the salmon and some chopped green onion (or avocado).
  • Step 4
  • Cut a shiso leaf in half, wrap it around another ball, and top with the tuna (and some chopped green onion).
  • Step 5
  • Top the third ball with the shrimp and olive.
  • Step 6
  • Variations include cured ham + avocado, cucumber + cherry tomato + egg, etc. Eat together with wasabi, yuzu pepper paste, and soy sauce.
