  • 1 cooked cup approx sushi rice
  • 1/2 kg chicken
  • 150 ml teriyaki sauce
  • 1 avocado
  • to taste mayonnaise
  • to taste sushi rice wine vinegar
  • to taste sushi soy sauce

How to Make Sushi rice ball

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Sushi rice ball in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook sushi rice following package instructions. Usually equal amounts of rice and water. Rinse the rice first.
  • Step 2
  • Cut chicken add to bowl with teriyaki sauce. Leave for 30 mins then cook.
  • Step 3
  • Once rice has cooled add sushi rice wine vinegar and mix
  • Step 4
  • Lay out Glad wrap on bench top and add rice in a thin layer in a circle
  • Step 5
  • Add cooked chicken, avocado and mayonnaise into the center of the rice. Pick up the sides of the glad wrap and form a ball with the rice covering all of the middle filling
