Ingredients: Sweet Cinnamon Roll

  • 250 grams Bread flour
  • 30 grams Sugar
  • 5 grams Instant yeast
  • 80 ml Warm water
  • 1 Egg
  • 60 grams Melted butter
  • Filling
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 60 grams Soft butter
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup Walnut (chopped)

How to Make Sweet Cinnamon Roll

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Sweet Cinnamon Roll in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Mixed the bread flour, sugar, yeast, warm water, egg and melted butter until they form a dough. Knead for about 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Cover the dough with a damp cloth and proof it for an hour until it double in size.
  • Step 3
  • Knock the dough and knead it for another 15 mins.
  • Step 4
  • Roll the dough into a sheet that is roughly 18 cm by 36 cm in dimension.
  • Step 5
  • Mix the ingredients for the filling and spread it onto the dough. Then roll the dough sheet to form a Swiss roll like shape.
  • Step 6
  • Cut the roll into about 9 equal parts. Each part is about 4cm thick. Place the pieces into a cake tin lined with parchment paper.
  • Step 7
  • Let the rolls proof in the tin for about 45 minutes. Brush the rolls with egg wash and bake the rolls in the oven at 180°C for about 25 to 30 minutes
