Ingredients: Sweet Lollies

  • Potato
  • 200 grams baby potato (clean and scrubbed)
  • Sauce
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/3 tbsp paprika or red chilli powder
  • 1/3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • sesame seed (for garnish)
  • Kitchen tools
  • 10 bamboo skewers
  • vegetable oil

How to Make Sweet Lollies

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Sweet Lollies in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • For frying the potatoes: -make a small hole in the middle of each potatoes. -heat oil in pan and fry the potatoes in medium low heat for 10-15minutes (do not burn) occasionally stir the potatoes. -check if its cooked by piercing a bamboo skewer right in the middle. Make sure all the potatoes are cooked evenly.
  • Step 2
  • The sauce: -mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and add into the potatoes. Stir it well. Cook for another 5minutes (until the sauce dries up)
  • Step 3
  • Let it cool down a bit. Take the bamboo skewers and pierce each one into the baby potatoes and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve hot or cold and enjoy ^^
