Ingredients: Tabbouleh

  • 3 bunch parsley
  • 1/2 cup fine bulgur
  • 3 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 6 green onions, thinly sliced including green stems
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 each juice of 3 -4 lemons
  • 1 handful fresh mint, finely sliced (optional)
  • 1 salt -to taste

How to Make Tabbouleh

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Tabbouleh in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Soak bulgur in juice of 1 lemon til absorbed and appearance is dry. Fluff with a fork.
  • Step 2
  • Rinse and chop parsley leaves. If using mint, chop and add to chopped parsley in a large bowl.
  • Step 3
  • Add chopped tomatoes and sliced green onion. Toss and combine. Add juice from remaining lemons.
  • Step 4
  • Add your fluffed bulgur to the parsley mixture as well as the olive oil. Mix til combined, adding salt as needed.
