  • 1/3 cup bulgur (cracked wheat)
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 English cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch cracked black pepper

How to Make tabbouleh

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make tabbouleh in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • rinse bulgur in fine mesh sieve. cover with boiling water and let soak 20 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients.
  • Step 3
  • rinse bulgur in cold water and squeeze excess water from it.
  • Step 4
  • stir bulgur into parsley mixture. chill at least 1 hour before serving.
