  • 2 lb hamburger meat/ground turkey (you're choice)
  • 1/2 onion (chopped)
  • 2 can Pinto beans
  • 2 can Lima beans
  • 2 can golden Hominy
  • 2 can chopped green chiles
  • 2 packages ranch dry mix
  • 2 packages Taco dry seasoning
  • 1 shredded cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips

How to Make Taco Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Taco Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Brown meat, I usually add onion when it gets close to done. Strain grease.
  • Step 2
  • Add all ingredients to crock pot.
  • Step 3
  • Fill with water.
  • Step 4
  • Cook on low for 4 hours, or high for 2.
  • Step 5
  • Serve with tortilla chips, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream (or I like to use plain Greek yogurt in place if sour cream). This is obviously a double batch, perfect for parties, or a yummy meal to eat all week!
